Sesame Beef

Updated June 27, 2018

sesame beef

I used thinly sliced tenderloin in this recipe, but sirloin or other good quality steak would work as well. This is delicious with Ramen noodles or rice. Garnish with extra sesame seeds and green onions for a great family meal. Have all ingredients ready, because cooking is quick and easy.

Sauce:

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, hoisin, brown sugar, ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, chili paste, and green onions. Set aside.

In a wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of the peanut or canola oil. Add the beef strips and garlic; cook, stirring constantly, until browned. Remove to a plate and set aside.

Add the remaining oil to the wok or skillet and add the broccoli florets. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 2 minutes, or until it begins to become tender.

Add the beef back to the pan along with the sauce mixture. Cook, stirring, until the sauce is thickened and beef is done as desired.
