Cheese Grits Casserole

Cheese grits with an egg.


Both Cheddar and American cheeses go into this delicious cheese grits casserole. Feel free to use 8 ounces of the shredded "Classic Melts" blend of Cheddar, American, and Monterey Jack Cheeses.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients:


Instructions:

  1. Cook the grits in salted water following package directions.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 F.
  3. Grease a 1 1/2 to 2-quart baking dish.
  4. Stir the butter and cheeses into the grits.
  5. Whisk eggs with the milk and stir into the grits mixture.
  6. Turn into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes, or until set.
