Easy Harvard Beets

These Harvard beets are quick and easy to prepare with canned beets and a thickened sweet-sour sauce. Delicious and nutritious beets with a sweet and sour sauce.

- In a medium saucepan, stir together the sugar and cornstarch. Whisk in the vinegar and water and cook, stirring, until thickened.
- Add the beets and continue cooking, stirring frequently, for about 20 to 25 minutes, until nicely glazed. Add the butter, salt, and pepper and serve hot.
