Colorful Cole Slaw

This cole slaw is colorful and flavorful, with red and green cabbage, carrots, apple, and easy dressing. Make it a little ahead of time so the salad will have plenty of time -- at least 1 hour -- to chill before serving time.

Total Time: 15 minutes
- Cut the cabbages into quarters and remove cores; shred and place in a large bowl. Add the shredded carrots and apple.
- In a small bowl, combine the mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of the mayonnaise or salad dressing.
- Toss with the cole slaw mixture, blending well. Add more mayonnaise or salad dressing until desired consistency and taste is reached.
- Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving time.
