Easy Green Beans With Bacon

Super easy green beans with bacon.


Bacon and chopped onion help to dress up these canned green beans. The recipe uses canned green beans, which are so convenient, but feel free to use steamed fresh or frozen green beans.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes
Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients:


Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until lightly browned, turning frequently; add onion and cook until onion is just tender. Add the green beans with liquid and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 45 minutes. Add pepper.
  2. Serve with a slotted spoon or drain before serving.
