Spiced Sweet Potatoes and Apples
Easy sweet potatoes with sliced apples, brown sugar, and red hot cinnamon candies.
- 2 cups sliced cooked sweet potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups peeled, cored, and sliced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cinnamon red-hot candies
In a greased 1-quart casserole, alternate layers of sweet potatoes, apples, brown sugar, butter, and salt. Sprinkle the candies over the top. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
