Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies

  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans







In a large heavy saucepan, melt butterscotch chips with butter. Stir in flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and egg. Fold in pecans, marshmallows, and chocolate chips. Spread batter into a greased and floured 9-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overbake - center of brownies will still be soft and a little jiggly.
