Sweet-Tart Red Cabbage

This red cabbage is served with a sweet and sour sauce mixture.

Prep Time: 8 to 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes


  1. Shred the cabbage and cook it in boiling salted water for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until tender. Drain well.
  2. In saucepan simmer vinegar, brown sugar, cloves, salt, and bay leaf.
  3. Add grated onion to the sauce and then pour over the hot cooked cabbage.
  4. Remove bay leaf.
