Ramen Noodle Salad

  • 1 large head Napa cabbage, shredded or finely chopped
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 2 packages uncooked Ramen noodles, (discard the seasoning package)
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 5 tablespoons butter
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar







Put cabbage and onions in large bowl; chill. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-low heat; slowly cook noodles and almonds until lightly browned. Cool. Combine dressing ingredients; refrigerate to chill thoroughly. Mix all ingredients just before serving. Ramen noodle salad recipe serves 10 to 12.
