This is a fabulous lobster stew, made with cream and butter and packed with lobster. Serve with crackers or crusty rolls for a delicious first course or lunch.

2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups light cream or half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 cups cooked lobster meat, cut in small pieces
Melt butter in a medium saucepan; add flour, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add cream. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add seasonings. Add lobster meat and heat through.
