Maple Oatmeal Cookies

Maple flavoring and spices flavor these tasty oatmeal cookies and the dates and walnuts keep them moist and give them texture. These are great lunchbox cookies, or make them for a weekend treat.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes




Instructions:

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and spices. Add quick-cooking oat, raisins or dates, and nuts; set aside.
  3. In another large mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add melted butter, milk and flavoring. Stir in flour mixture and mix well.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Makes about 6 dozen
