French Toast Recipe

Honey French Toast is made with an egg batter sweetened with honey.
French toast is one of my all-time favorite breakfasts. A little honey and spice sets this French toast recipe apart from the everyday versions.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • dash salt
  • 8 slices white bread



Instructions:

Combine beaten egg with milk, honey, nutmeg, and salt, whisk together until smooth and well combined.

Place white bread in a single layer in a shallow pan. Pour egg mixture over bread and let stand for a few minutes, until soft. Brown slices on hot greased griddle. Serve French Toast Recipe with butter and syrup, if desired.
