Turkey Chili Recipe

This relatively light turkey chili is easy to prepare, and it's packed with protein and nutrients, not to mention flavor. Serve this chili with biscuits or cornbread for a delicious everyday meal.

Total Time: 40 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the turkey and onion; cook until turkey is browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the carrot, bell pepper, tomatoes, jalapeno, beans, chicken broth, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Serve with hot baked cornbread or biscuits and a tossed salad.
