In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and pepper. Mix until well blended. Broil or grill the burgers 4 inches from the heat source until browned and cooked as desired. An internal temperature of at least 160° F is recommended by the USDA.
While burgers are cooking, combine the blue cheese and sour cream. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
Serve the burgers on the split toasted rolls with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and the blue cheese sauce.
