Quick Asparagus Stir-Fry

This quick and easy asparagus stir-fry recipe makes an excellent side dish to serve with fish or seafood, chicken, or steaks.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes



Cut the trimmed asparagus, on the diagonal, into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the extra virgin olive oil. Add the asparagus pieces and stir-fry for about 3 minutes. Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute longer, or until crisp-tender.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.

*To trim asparagus, snap off the tough ends.
