Wayne's Scallops
Recipe from Partners in the Kitchen
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic -- minced
- 1 large green bell pepper -- sliced
- 1/2 bunch green onions -- chopped
- 4 ounces snow peas
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms
- 1 pound scallops, large
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup milk
Heat oil in large skillet. Saute garlic, green pepper and green
onions
until tender. Add snow peas and mushrooms. Saute until tender-crisp.
Add scallops. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Add wine.
cook
for 1 minute, stirring often. Stir in milk. cook until heated
through.
Serve over hot cooked linguine.
