Shrimp Creole
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- dash of white pepper
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined and cooked
Instructions:
In a heavy skillet over low heat, saute onion, garlic and green pepper for 8 to 10
minutes. Add tomatoes, seasonings and shrimp. Simmer for 5 minutes.
