Herbed Walnut Rice

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 c shredded carrots
  • 12 c chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 tsp dried rosemary
  • 3 cups cooked rice in chicken broth,Take 3 cups rice and cover rice with a can of chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley







In a large skillet,melt the butter over med-high heat; add the onion and carrot,walnuts,herbs and cook until vegetables are tender-crisp, 6 to 8 mins. Stir in the rice and parsley, and heat throughly.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
