Recipe By : The Little Mountain Bean Bible Cookbook
- 6 cups soybeans -- cooked until tender
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
- salt -- to taste
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 medium onion -- whole
- 2 tablespoons oil
Mix all ingredients except the onion. Place in bean pot or baking
dish. Put the whole onion in the center. Bake in moderate oven,
adding a little bean broth or tomato juice as needed to keep moist.
Bake 1 hour or longer.
